At Providence we believe that serving is a biblical response to the Gospel. There are many different avenues to serve and it's easy to get plugged in.
Just as God has reached out to us in friendship and hospitality, we are called to be hospitable to others. Our Hospitality teams set the mood for the Sunday gathering through joyful hearts and smiles, providing a warm cup of coffee, and helping you through our Sunday morning gathering. Hospitality includes the Connect, Hospitality, and Usher Team.
WORSHIP & AUDIO/VISUAL
Scripture calls the believer to live a worship-filled life in thought and in deed. On Sundays when the rains gather to worship it is of utmost importance that the Church be passionate, organized, and well equipped to sing, pray, and sit under the preached word. If you have musical or technological gifts, the Worship or A/V team may be right for you. Please note that the Worship Team requires an audition.
Providence Family's mission is to impart the Gospel to the next generation. On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for children from the age of 4 months to 5th grade. All Providence Kids volunteers are required to fill out an application to go through a background check for the safety of our children and families.
MORE WAYS TO GET PLUGGED IN
Providence’s Home Groups are groups of men, women, and children who are learning to follow Jesus – growing together, loving one another, and blessing their neighbors.
The gospel call does not allow us to seek the pleasures of comfort. Instead, fully-devoted followers of Christ do all they can to put the gospel on display by sharing the love of God that has been shown to them. Whether through our time, talents, or treasures, we seek to give our lives to the advancement of God's kingdom by making disciples.
