WHAT IS 514 STUDENT MINISTRIES?
514 Student Ministries was birthed out of the idea that discipleship, growing in Christ, and making the gospel unignorable in our city was not limited to adults. Rather, it was given to all the saints, regardless of the age. "514" is derived from Matthew 5:14:
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.
If students are living their life in light of the gospel in their schools and communities, then it will be impossible for this watching world to not take notice. It is our heart to impart this message to the next generation to a world that is increasingly broken.
We currently meet at the church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 6:00p - 8:00p for food, games, a teaching from the Bible and discussion time. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays, we gather in our age and gender specific small groups. Also, throughout the year we have various events ranging from summer camp to 5th Sunday house parties. Regardless of how we gather, we believe that the Lord is shaping us more and more into His image.
Also, we upload weekly content to our podcast below where we look to provide a relational environment where we can answer questions, address concerns, and provide a biblical worldview to our current cultural moment.
